Heart and Lungs
Aiming for the heart and lungs gives more than just bonus money for every hunt when doing boss fights, aiming for these specific parts will grant you huge bonus damage for every shot. And we assure you, they are worth the effort.
Boss Hunt Tricks
Everyone can agree that the boss hunts are the most frustrating ‘hunt’ of the game. Bosses are just way stronger, faster, and overall dangerous. The only advantage that you might have in these fights will be your ammunition capacity, so before heading to boss fights, make sure to upgrade that. You can shoot non-stop without having to reload considering you do upgrade your ammunition constantly. Be sure to save up some money for this.
Hit the weak spots to stun the boss dinos!
Take advantage of the red indicator on certain body parts during fights especially if you are taking on a single target dinosaur. They can be pretty strong. When shot on these points, dinosaurs will flinch for a bit that will buy you some time to reload (given you need to). This also gives increased damage, making it easier for you to win fights.
Map Fragments
This tip will save you lots of time, especially if you’re a beginner. Map fragments are very vital in this game as they are needed so you can assemble the map for the next region. You can find all the pieces needed on the main series hunts and at every end of levels in boss hunts. Remember, you won’t find them in Exotic Series, Contract Hunts, or the other hunts after that. Invest in Your Starting Weapon
You will notice that in the stores, most weapons cost heaps of gold, and most likely you won’t be able to afford it. Your starting weapon is already good enough to get you most of the early region, probably up to the second one so save up your gold but does invest in upgrading your starting weapon at a time.
